When I started writing this blog 36 weeks ago, it was for the purpose
of recording my Sabbath experience. I hoped that, by keeping a weekly
journal, I could remember more of what I was learning along the way.
My family was new to Sabbath keeping and didn't know anyone else at
that time who kept Sabbath. This blog has been a huge outlet for
meeting others, learning from their Sabbath experiences and examing my
own motives.

The building up and encouragement of each other, along with gaining
insight and wisdom about Sabbath, has become the main purpose for this
blog. On many occasions my reader's comments have brought great
encouragement to me and others! I love it when God speaks through
someone's words and gives me just the insight that I need! It has
been interesting to hear everyone's thoughts and Sabbath experiences
along the way. It seems to be a good balance of inspiration and
information.

There are people, like Rubyjean, who make me smile every time I see a
comment from her! She joined the blog at the beginning and I have
treasured her encouragement throughout the weeks! She has kept the
Sabbath her whole life and has great perspective to someone like me
who is learning.

Then there are others, like TwylaBeth, who have had similar Baptist
upbringings and understand where I'm at in my journey. She has given
me great suggestions for resources and has been amazingly real and
encouraging! I love how she ended one post with, "- 23 months into
our own Sabbath Challenge, and a lifetime to go!"

I love receiving stories, like the one from Lela about the bees in her
walk-in closet that only caused problems on Sabbath! It was humorous,
relatable and practical!

Steven from Verona Seventh Day Baptist Church has been such a huge
supporter from week to week, sharing the posts with his church and
bringing insights as a pastor of a Sabbath-keeping church!

And people, like Vivian and Sofia, have challenged me to dig in God's
Word and be able to give a clear answer for what I believe!

I could go on and on with names and comments -Deborah, Kathy, Miranda,
Robin, etc. Everyone brings such value and insight to this blog. I
appreciate your Biblically sound views, intentions that bring balance
and help to others, and the respect that is shown for each other.
We're all so human and imperfect. It is great to stay real and allow
God to lead and change us as He sees fit.

I plan to continue this blog as long as the Lord leads and directs.
Thank you for staying connected and for sharing your thoughts with me
and the other readers! You continue to be a blessing to me and my
family!

Until next week,
Lisa G.
